Formerly the capital of Mughal Empire and declared as the World Heritage site Fatehpur Sikri is completely built using Red sand stones. Its architecture is a blend of Islamic and Hindu style. The sandstones have carvings and designs throughout the city. The main attractions are Buland Darwaza, Diwan-I-Aam, Diwan-I-Khaas, Sheikh Salim Chishti tomb and many palaces.
