First time me and my wife opted for organize tour and we loved it. You are looked after from the moment you land till it is time to say goodbye to India. All guides are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Driver is curtious and attentative. Hotels clean and comfortable.

A truely incredible experience. After being concerned about booking a tour with and operator on the other side of the world, Vikas (Travel Agent) was quick to settle my concerns. My trip was seamless from airport pick up to drop off. Royal Rajasthan Travels is a reliable and trustworthy operator with safety and customer experience at its forefront of mind. This is evident by Vikas replying to all queries by email or WhatsApp extremely fast, and by having guides who were personable and cared for your safety, as well as drivers who drove responsibly (Rameshwar was my driver and he was great!). My Golden Triangle, Varanasi, Udaipur, and Jodhpur trip was fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend Royal Rajasthan Travels to anyone! When you come to India you must book a tour with them!

Ooty is a nice place however Coorg district is a definite visit one must have in their travel list. Both are in two different directions however can be visited in one day each. The best way to travel to Ooty and Coorg is to hire a cab from Mysore for 2 days. The best time to travel ooty and Coorg is Oct - Jan

This is the third time I brought US students to India as part of a University course/program I teach every summer. Vikas and his team did a fabulous job as always! Many of the flights were delayed due to the dust storm in Delhi but his team responded quickly to all my calls and at the end all my students were safely transported to the hotel in Delhi. All the arrangements in our destinations were great and the team members were supportive, patient and extremely honest! Our impromptu visit to the "Agrasen ki Baoli" was wonderful. The guide understood that our trip was not a touristy trip only but part of a formal university course on health related issues and made sure that he pointed out things on our way which had health implications. In November 2017 I organised a Golden Triangle & Ganges tour (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi) through Vikas at Royal Rajasthan. I can honestly say it was one of the best organised tours I have ever had. The drivers were prompt, efficient and very capable, the tour guides were knowledgable, communicative and expceptionally welcoming, Vikas himself kept in close contact the whole time through WhatsApp and responded to questions within minutes - even helping me with tip advice and restaurant suggestions. The hotels Vikas organised were just stunning, the sithseeing was perfectly timed, the food was amazing throughout and, despite my fears, I didn't get sick once in the whole 8-day trip. Having travelled to India on business, this was a leisure trip with my son.
I had spent a lot of time on line with Vikas, tweeking the hotels where we were anticipating to stay, and also the activities. This was I think one of the main features of the successful trip, as where else would someone be able to do this????

My neighbour's highly recommended this Indian based travel agency in order to arrange my transport and accomodation for my trip to India. I was traveling alone to Jodhpur for a seven day camera course, and wanted to arrange sightseeing and transport for the the five days before, and three days after the course.
I dealt with Vikas (the owner) by email and advised him of my requirements, and asked him to suggest an itinerary. I did not really have an idea of where I wanted to go, except that I wanted to arrive in Jodhpur in time for my course.
Vikas suggest visiting Agra, Jaipur before, and Udaipur afterwards. Transport was organised by car, with an english speaking driver, who met me at Delhi airport, and picked me up every day for either sightseeing, or transport to the next destination. Each day had planned visits, full of interesting things to see. I used the suggested hotels/itinerary as a starting point for planning my visit, but upgraded two of my hotels to superior accomodation, as well as tweaked some of my visits.
I asked for the accomodation and transport/guide costs to be shown separately, just so I could see how the costs were divided. Vikas booked and paid for all the hotels up front.
Throughout my stay, I was sent updates via WhatsApp with the driver's name, collection times and vehicle registration number. After each change of driver or guide, Vikas checked in with me to check the day went well. It was good to know that throughout the trip, it was important that the service provided was meeting my expectations.
I would highly recommend Royal Rajasthan Travels, as they made my trip to India so easy. I cannot imagine how I would have arranged this myself - I would probably have flown between destinations, rather than travel by car, thereby missing out on a lot of interesting places. Moving around by car is so much better than taking flights, even if some of the journeys are quite long.
If you were thinking of doing an organised trip with an established company, then it is definitely worth seeing what they can offer, as I imagine this would be a much better way, than being herded around in a large group. Everything here is tailored towards to your needs and requirements, and may well offer much better value and convenience.
This trip was tailored completely to my needs. I had no worries, every day was completely organised, including airport pick ups/drop offs.
Just for info, I paid 25% of the cost up front, and paid the remainder on arrival in India, as this turned out easier than doing a payment four weeks before arrival.
I am hopoing to return to India again next year, or the year after, and will defintely use this company again. It was relaxing and stress free knowing that everything had been taken care of.

We had booked a 15 day tour throughout Rajasthan ( including Delhi & Agra) & a 6 day tour down South ( Kerala) via initiating contact online from their website.

We planned to visit South India tour in our summer vacation with the family. Our tour to south India came true with the help of Royal Rajasthan Travels. The driver assigned was very good. He was very accommodating and can able understand our requirements. He was quite knowledgeable of the places and very prompt. He had given very good recommendations on hotels and to cover various spots and was always ready to take us wherever we wanted.
Words cannot simply put the amazing experience we had with our Rajasthan Trip during the last week of Dec 2014, which allowed us to cover all the major destinations we always wanted. Thanks to Vikas's detailed and meticulous planning of the hotels and destinations. The tour was planned such that we not only did get to visit all the places but allowed us to recharge sufficiently for next set of visits. Our driver, Hariram, assigned was too very good. He was very accommodating and understanding. As compared to our previous experiences with drivers we were quite nervous with what kind of attitude we will be facing, but all our doubts were rested no sooner we met him. Hariram, was quite knowledgeable of all the places and surroundings. He had some very good recommendations for neighboring hotels and how/what to cover various spots.

We organized a Rajasthan trip through Royal Rajasthan tours lasting a few days. The proprietor Vikas was available 24/7 , even responding to my emails for on weekends when I was trying to book the trip.
The hotels and the driver provided as part of the tour were very satisfactory. We had an issue with the quality of one of the hotel rooms and I sent Vikas an email when we checked into the room. He immediately called the hotel staff and had us moved to a better room. Excellent service and I would definitely recommend this tour operator for future tours.
I took off 1 rating due to the following reasons
1) While the hotels we were booked at, were very pleasant and moderately upscale, we were given the most basic rooms at these hotels. I would suggest asking for full details on the type of room and other options at those hotels upfront before you book the tour. We weren't provided these details beforehand. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, but would have liked to have the option of better rooms at the time of booking.
2) The driver we were assigned was very experienced and courteous but several times drove us to arts and crafts stores that were very overpriced ( that he gets a commission from) and away from other stores. Decline any such offers from drivers and ask to be driven to markets where you have lots of choices to compare and haggle.
Right from sorting out 3 tour operators for Rajasthan, it was Vikas from Royal Rajasthan Travels who was right on the peddle. Call him at any time of the day, he was available 24*7. Very efficient and detailed knowledge of the queries raised by me from time and again. Everything was answered on the call made to him. Never had to tell me Sir, will call you in sometime or will revert. Bang on the job and efficient. Customised the Tour as the way i wanted to. not a single change suggested by him. Made me feel as the boss.
w.r.t to the car and driver. No Complaints at all during the 10 days of my trip. Well mannered and soft spoken Mr. Abdul. never raised the speed limit beyond 90 kms. well antiquates of guests handling, traffic sense and through gentleman. My Dad and I did a 4day Golden Triangle trip from Delhi to Agra and then on to Jaipur. The first day in Agra coincided with my birthday, which they would've only been aware of from noticing my registration information. So, of their own initiative, I was met off the train with a beautiful bunch of flowers and they also informed our accommodation of the special occasion in which they surprised us with a generous room upgrade, chocolates and a full birthday cake in the room!
Our driver was fantastic, available 24hrs for our needs and the guides helped us with anything we wanted to do, with no pressure to do anything we didn't want to. The guides were friendly, warm and very knowledgable of all the sights we visited, ensuring we wouldn't get ripped off and were safe at all times.

As our first time using an online travel agency I was nervous and unsure of what we wanted in the time we had available. When I started planning my trip to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur, I sent messages to a few travel agencies that organize tours here. Vikas organised a wonderful 10 day tour for my family in January 2014. The tour guides were all extremely knowledgeable, punctual, informative and friendly. Always happy to assist in any way. Our driver was with us for the entire tour and did a fantastic job, on call at all times to take us anywhere we needed to go. Vikas suggested an ideal itinerary with highlights in each location - the magnificent temples and historical sites in Delhi, the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and the sights of Jaipur. We loved our visit to the tiger sanctuary and thoroughly enjoyed the game drives, despite not seeing a tiger. The early morning bicycle ride through the streets of Jaipur was a wonderful adventure. I can only say good things about this service: I found it online, I asked for a quotation and they replied the day after with a very detailed email with all the plan, accomodation details, transports. It costed less than organizing it with with an Italian tour operator ( I am italian) and it was more organized and with no surprises. My husband and I were able to customize the trip, and then we could really relax and enjoy India cause Royal Rajastan travels was taking care of everything: we had a personal guide veryday and a personal driver who was an angel!!!! Much better than being in a bus with other people. all the hotels were perfect we always had a telephone number to call in case of problems, we had assistance at the train station and airport ( we took an internal train and flight). I recommended it already to 2 couples of friends. It is for me the best way to visit India!

Vikas organised a five night/six day Indian tour for my family. We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfectly structured, including a driver, city-based expert guides and accommodation. There was excellent communication, and we felt safe and taken care of at all times. We five families had a tour to South specially to Kerala - Munnar & Allappy. It was excellent experience not just the Kerala but the services & Leisure arranged by the Royal Rajasthan Travels. It was more then what we expected. Every arrangement was time bound from their side & they took care of each & every need. They know how to treat & keep U on palms as tourist. We all are more then just satisfied & had one of the best experience as a tourist.
We had had the once in a lifetime experience of visiting Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in 2006. We booked the tour through Royal Rajasthan Tours. Very personnel and hassle free experience and we all enjoyed the tour thoroughly. We were so touched by their hospitality. A vehicle, a tour guide and a driver] and his assistant were with us exclusively for the entire 7 days of the tour. Being local, they had good contacts with the local authority, the police and at the tour destination. Everything was taken care of and we never had to worry about the crowd or the long queues. They even left the car and the driver on the last day of the tour for shopping at Delhi. The selection of hotel, safety during the tour, the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff, we couldn't ask for more. After our daughter's wedding when they decided to visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in 2013, we didn't have to think twice who they will go with. We will definitely use their service again.
We booked a 9 day golden triangle tour with Royal Rajasthan Travels in Sep. Communication was excellent during planning, booking a bespoke tour for our specific date and location requests. They wrote a seamless itinerary including all hotels, guides at each location, private driver and car for the duration plus connecting train tickets. We went for the 4* accommodation option: the hotels were a mix of modern and traditional luxury hotels, all faultless and in great locations.
Our driver Sanjay was the star of the trip and a credit to the company. He knitted the trip together perfectly, always at the right location at the right time, with cold bottled water and an infectious smile. The car was comfortable and we felt safe at all times – he was clearly experienced on the crazy Indian roads! Although not a professional guide he offered local and cultural knowledge along the journey and on occasions took us to local sights not on the schedule. Nothing was too much trouble for the company and they were very flexible when we wanted to change one of the planned days and add in an evening trip
The guides at each city varied in quality, but overall they were very good. A couple felt a bit rushed but conversely others went above and beyond. The Royal Rajasthan rep in Agra also excellently managed a crisis when our planned overnight train was cancelled, rebooking us on a different train and Sanjay getting us there in record time, meaning we didn’t have a delay at all in the end!
Overall it was a fantastic trip: a perfect blend of stress-free luxury and culture. Excellent value for money (much more so than self booking) and we would highly recommend booking a similar tour with Royal Rajasthan Travels.

Our driver, Sanjay, was a lifesaver - keeping us safe on the crazy roads of India. ('good brakes, good horn, good luck!') He even took us to an extra stop and recommended a dinner place on the way to the airport drop-off.
Royal contracts with local, independent tour guides. who know the sites well. Each of our guides (Ramesh, Divya, Sher Singh) had lived in their respective cities for many years, if not their whole life. They provided historical context for each memorial as well as became our 'free' photographer as we toured the site. They guided us to the best places for buying souvenirs and places to avoid. They were so proud of their city and loved showing it off to us.
We were able to meet Vikas in person to pay the balance of the trip on our next to last day. And talk with him about the overall experience.
Be sure to know the types of hotels and vehicle type you will have for the trip. We needed to upgrade the car after day 1 to an SUV to get more room and better A/C (a must!)!
